Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Frontend Developer Intern to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about web development and eager to grow their skills by working on real-world projects like Mertrix. You’ll collaborate with experienced developers and gain hands-on experience building modern, responsive user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and developing responsive web interfaces for Mertrix and other projects.
- Write clean and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (and frameworks such as NextJs).
- Work closely with the design and backend teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs and designs.
- Test and debug applications across multiple browsers and devices to ensure a consistent user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions to contribute ideas and learn best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in frontend development to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of responsive design and web accessibility principles.
- Familiarity with any frontend framework/library such as React, Vue.js, or Angular (academic or personal projects count!).
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic backend/frontend interaction.
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
